Understanding Minion Mechanics and Action Times

Every minion in the game operates on an internal "Action Time" cooldown. For a minion to produce one item (like an Iron Ingot or a piece of Enchanted String), it must perform two distinct actions: placing the block/spawning the mob, and then breaking the block/killing the mob. Therefore, a minion with a stated action time of 10 seconds will actually produce one raw resource every 20 seconds. Upgrading your minion to higher tiers (up to Tier 11 or Tier 12) significantly reduces this action time, compounding your daily yields.

Optimizing Your Fuel Source

Fuel is the most critical variable in minion optimization. The right fuel can double your profits, while the wrong fuel can actually cause you to lose money if the cost of the fuel exceeds the value of the items generated.

  • Enchanted Lava Bucket (ELB): The gold standard for passive setups. It provides a permanent, infinite +25% speed boost. While the upfront cost is high, it requires zero maintenance.
  • Plasma Bucket / Everburning Flame: Endgame infinite fuels providing up to +35% (or +45% for combat) speed, essential for maximizing Tier 11 setups.
  • Catalysts & Hyper Catalysts: These fuels do not increase speed; instead, they multiply the drops by x3 or x4. Because they are consumable and expensive, they should only be used on highly profitable minions (like Tarantula or Voidling) during favorable Bazaar conditions.
  • Foul Flesh: Provides a massive +90% speed boost for 5 hours. Highly efficient for quick bursts of production, but requires daily management to restock.

The Power of Minion Upgrades

Most minions have exactly two upgrade slots. Managing these slots correctly is the difference between a mediocre setup and a multi-million-coin daily empire.

  • Super Compactor 3000 (SC3000): Absolutely mandatory for offline profiles. Without this item, your minion's internal storage will fill up with raw materials in a matter of hours, halting production completely. The SC3000 automatically condenses raw items into their Enchanted forms (e.g., Lapis into Enchanted Lapis), allowing the minion to run unmonitored for weeks or even months.
  • Diamond Spreading: An incredibly powerful secondary upgrade. It grants the minion a 10% chance to generate a Diamond alongside its normal drop. Because Diamonds retain high NPC and Bazaar value, adding Diamond Spreading to fast minions (like Snow or Clay) creates massive supplementary income.
  • Flycatchers: The most expensive minion upgrade in the game. It provides a flat +20% speed boost. Endgame players often pair an SC3000 with a Flycatcher (instead of Diamond Spreading) on highly valuable minions like Inferno or Voidlings to maximize the output of the primary resource.

Bazaar Selling vs. NPC Selling
